EXPERIENCE
2005-Current Neutral Zone
Variety/Pop band based out of the Delavan WI area.
Neutral Zone is a 5 piece band consisting of a female singer, bass, drums, guitar and keys/guitar. Over the last ten years or so, Neutral Zone has been a first choice by local festival operators, nightclubs, and party coordinators for their entertainment needs. The song list ranges from the 50's through today to appeal to a wide audience base.

1997-2004 Jegani
High energy pop-top 40 from the 70s thru the 90s founded by Jeff.
Jegani has made exclusive use of computers and midi to sequence bass parts, background percussion and many keyboard parts. The midi sequences have also been used to do all patch changes on the instruments and audio effects, as well as run Jegani's extensive stage and dance floor lighting system. To attain CD quality sound for the audience, Jeff has used an electronic drum kit triggering an Alesis DM-Pro with the intent of keeping the stage volume at a minimum. Recently Jeff has been using an older double bass Zickos acoustic drum kit, accompanied by a Roland SPD-20 sound module to access both the power of the acoustic drums as well as the fullness of the electronic sound. Beyond performing, Jeffs responsibilities were also to create and update all the background percussion parts in the sequences and to insure all patch changes are programmed to trigger at precisely the correct time. Other responsibilities are to setup, maintain, program and run Jegani's digitally controlled sound and lighting system system.

1997-1999 Wiseguyz
Mainstream and classic rock as well as blues
A 3-piece power rock band covering current as well as older rock tunes. The style called for more of an acoustic drum sound than electronic, so Jeff used a hybrid acoustic-electronic kit with Ddrum "clamps" on the rims.

1993-1997 The Hot Hole Plumbers
Classic rock, blues, and 90s alternative rock
The Hot Hole Plumbers was a 3 piece band consisting of guitar, bass and drums. Jeff used a hybrid drum kit consisting of both acoustic drums and electronic pads triggering a Roland TD-7.

1992-1993 Filmore Brothers
Classic Rock
The Filmore Brothers was a Grateful Dead orientated band playing concerts and clubs throughout the San Francisco bay area. Jeff used a standard 5 piece Slingerland acoustic drum kit with this band.

1989-1992 Soundz Audio & Lighting
Audio Installation Technician
Consultant, designer and advisor; direct customer contact in the Chicago hospitality industry during design, bid, assembly, installation and repair stages. Managed all commercial audio installation and maintenance orders.

1986-1989 One Eyed Jacks High energy top40
This band was a 100% road band performing in the 4 & 5 star hotel circuit nation wide. Previously, Jeff had spent years developing a powerful, steady drumming technique with acoustic drum equipment. However, with the advent of digital electronic percussion technology, Jeff cut his teeth on the use of electronic percussion with this band using a Simons SDS_9 electronic drum kit.
